It is not often someone is given the right to represent a state. But that is what happened when Margana Wood, the woman chosen to represent the state of Texas in the Miss America Pageant, led the way. But she was not as happy about the honor as it seems. Sadly, much of the Caribbean has been destroyed by Hurricane Irma. Caroline Kennedy lost her Ambassador post in Japan when Trump took office. He sent her packing and hasn’t even bothered to name a replacement. But  according to the New York Post , she’s not done with public service.  Kennedy is planning to run for the U.S. senate in 2018. Daniel R. Russel, an Assistant Secretary of the State Department, can’t say enough kind things about Kennedy’s diplomacy skills. A new poll came out by the  Center for Security Policy and Eagle Forum  which says that 63% of voters think that it’s time to replace Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. 43% also said that Republican leadership in Congress supports the swamp.  63% of voters want new Republican leadership – including 68% of Republican voters, according to the study. A judge recently struck down a case regarding the religious wording on U.S. currency. The plaintiff argued that the phrase “In God We Trust,” that is seen on American dollars, is a breach of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act and places a burden on a person’s right to exercise religious freedom.The Ohio judge, Benita Pearson disagreed with the plaintiff, issuing that they had no proof of the claimed burden, and stated the following:“Plaintiffs cannot demonstrate that the use of the motto on currency substantially burdens their religious exercise,” she wrote in her ruling. “Credit cards and checks allow Plaintiffs to conduct the bulk of their purchases with currency not inscribed with the motto. President Trump is finally getting tough on illegal immigrants. Liberals are furious but forget that a large portion of Trump’s order simply tells law enforcement to enforce the laws on the books, the same ones Obama told them to ignore. President Trump’s orders allow immigration officials to deport all immigrants convicted of crimes, and on top of that all those that have not been charged yet but are suspected to have committed crimes with a good chance they will be charged. This order affects roughly 8 million people. The left estimates the number of illegal immigrants here is 11.1 million. Trump and his advisors put the number at 30 million.
